After a lot of thinking and design iterations I ended up &#8220;borrowing&#8221; an idea from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.critterandguitari.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Critter and Guitari<\/a>. A bent heavy duty brushed steel panel, with a laser cut wooden base. I is a lot more heavier than the original design, but much more sturdy, the steel is much more hard material than aluminium so it doesn&#8217;t bend or scratch that easily. I&#8217;m loving the feel of it and how it turned out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tomashg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/dw_new_2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1244\" src=\"https:\/\/tomashg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/dw_new_2-1024x487.jpg\" alt=\"dw_new_2\" width=\"100%\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomashg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/dw_new_2-1024x487.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/tomashg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/dw_new_2-300x142.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tomashg.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/dw_new_2.jpg 1892w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I also finally managed to get some prints on the panels, by baking Lazertran decals on aluminium panels, I&#8217;ts a very delicate process and doesn&#8217;t always turn out well, which means I will have to find a better alternative. But for a few runs it could be alright.
