I am happy to announce the release of a third Digital Warrior edition. The new hardware controls are focused on the stand alone sequencer firmware, turning the MIDI controller into an full blown 4 track monophonic MIDI synth sequencer. The new expansion board adds a small 7segment display and 3 buttons that help in the programming of patterns and simplify switching between tracks and patterns. But the same firmware can be used with any Digital Warrior MK2.
Each of the four individual tracks has a root note and transpose settings, can be configured to send to an individual MIDI channel, can have a different length (2 to 32 steps), step duration (1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 2/4 notes) and direction (forward, reverse, ping pong and random), also there are 12 scales to choose from. Each step has pitch, velocity, as well as chance of occurring parameters.
Each track has 4 different sequence clips which you can copy, mute and erase. and you can permanently store and recall on the fly up to 3 songs, Resulting in 48 individual MIDI sequences.
In addition to those updates I also introduced velocity and chance parameters in the main controller firmware.
